I like to test my characters before publishing in two ways... One as an actual player and trying to steer the conversation, also trying to steer it away and see how that affects the chat. But I also do tests with the Continue button and the suggested reply, trying to find out if the character will follow the plot as I have set it up; often this will lead to minor adjustments, sometimes needing to rephrase something that causes confusion.
